Congratulations to Junior Dan Latham on being named the Portland Press Herald’s Athlete of the Week. Latham will be looking to lead the Clippers back to the Class B South Championship game when they take on York tonight at the Colisee in Lewiston. Game time is 6 pm.

Dan Latham, Yarmouth hockey: The junior goalkeeper stopped 34 shots to help earn sixth-seeded Yarmouth a 4-1 upset victory against third-ranked Cape Elizabeth in the Class B South quarterfinals Monday night. Yarmouth, which hasn’t won a state championship since 2002, lost to Cape Elizabeth twice during the regular season before earning the win in the playoffs.
