In what may be a first for high school hockey, Yarmouth and Maranacook played a penalty-free game. The result was an 8-0 victory for the Clippers at Kent’s Hill School. Yarmouth will travel to Colby College this Saturday for a rematch of last year’s State Championship game with Waterville. Game time is 1:00 pm.

The first line of Cooper May (3 goals, 2 assists), Chris Romano (2 goals, 1 assist) and Bennett Travers (2 assists) provided much of the offense. However, Bill Jacobs chipped in an unassisted goal and late in the third period, Dom Morrill scored two goals in a single shift. Captain Owen Ramsay picked up three assists from the blue line and Dan Latham notched the shutout.
#16 Senior Caleb Morrison made his first start for the Clippers this season and had an impressive debut. Morrison is a big, experienced defenseman who played travel hockey with Casco Bay and played with Yarmouth in past seasons. Morrison will be a welcome addition to the Clippers’ line-up.

Video highlights of the game will be posted shortly
