Despite struggling during the regular season, Yarmouth caught fire during the playoffs with impressive wins over Portland/Deering and Cape Elizabeth to reach the Championship Game.  However, Windham/Westbrook took control early and led 2-0 until midway through the second period when Dom Morrill picked up a goal to cut the lead in half.  Matt Sanborn was credited with the assist.

In the last minute of the second period, Windham/Westbrook scored and the teams went into the final stanza tied 3-3.

It looked like the game would go into overtime, but with 2:37 remaining, Dom Morrill capped an end-to-end rush with a blistering top corner shot for the game-winning goal.  Goaltender Greg Kamra played in an incredible game in net and was credited with the assist on Morrill’s goal.
