The Clippers gave their best offensive performance of the year as they fired 36 shots on net en route to a dominating 5-1 victory. Kennebunk’s pre-game talk of revenge fell flat as Walter Conrad scored at 3:16 into the first period with assists from Chris Romano and Patrick Grant. Cooper May then tipped a shot by Owen Ramsay to give the Clippers a 2-0 lead at the intermission.

In the second period, Yarmouth was only able to muster one goal on twelve shots. Captain Patrick Grant picked up the second-period tally with an assist from Chris Romano.
With 5 minutes remaining in the game, Kennebunk showed some life when they were able to sneak a rebound past Latham, but the Clippers closed the door to any thought of a comeback. Cooper May (Ramsay) scored his second goal of the game and Chris Romano (Truesdale) sealed the victory with an empty netter.

Dan Latham was his usual, solid self as he made 17 saves on 18 shots and the sole shot that eluded him was the result of a freak bounce off a defenseman’s shoulder. Latham’s play has been so outstanding all season that it has just become expected and common-place.
